These tiny flowers are everywhere. I have memories of picking these when I was a young child, around the age of four or so, at my aunt's home. I would give them to my mom. Now that I am much older, I have an appreciation for how small and delicate they are. This photograph, I feel, is the epitome of spring. Spring is all about the blossoming of life. The weather becomes warmer, the flowers and trees bloom leaves and blossoms and there tends to be more sunlight. This photograph encapsulates all of that. The direction of the sunlight on the tiny petals of these flowers; the amount of green... the fact that not all of the flowers have bloomed... and the dead brown leaf laying amongst the flowers just says that from old life, new arises. It is a beautiful thing.
